Hello,
I've ordered my nappy stash ready for the baby due in feb and it has just occurred to me that I don't know how to prepare them for use.
I've ordered some:
little ewe terries
bambw clwt twts
kissaluvs
diddy diapers
newborn swaddlebee AIO
berry plush

Do I just need to wash them repeatedly beforehand as I remember washing my MEOS about 5 times first.

Thanks!

Yep, just wash them with 1/2 dose of washing powder (no fabric conditioner of course) a few times. Dry them in between washes for best effect then sit back and wait for their user to arrive .

You've got quite a variety there - the little ewes are likely to be up to a decent absorbancy by the end of their second wash IME, the others might take a few more washes.

Amazingly I haven't tried a few on your list so hopefully others who have will come along to give you a better idea of how many prewashes are needed. Anything bamboo will need more prewashes than terry usually. In the end, for a newborn you won't need a huge amount of absorbancy so don't worry too much about lots and lots of prewashing. Can't see anything hemp on your list - needs so much prewashing you need to start before LO is conceived!

Thankyou! I'm going to fling most of them in with in with DD's nappies, not sure about the berry plush or swaddlebee though!

You only need powder for the first wash, the rest of the prewashes are fine without and you don't need to dry between use.
