Football boots help!

Please help this oblivious mum!

My DS12’s school has requested for them to have a pair of football boots for some of their PE lessons. We aren't a football/rugby playing family and so have no clue which boots he would need!

He’ll be playing on grass mostly; so would normal football boots with studs be ok? There are so many to choose from; so advice would be very much appreciated

Thank you for your help in advance

Bog standard pair of football boots for £20 will do the job if he’s only going to use them once/twice a week for PE/Games lessons and doesn’t play for a team on weekends (I presume not as you said not really a football/rugby family), you’ll find something in Sports Direct no problem!
As long as they have studs that’s basically the only requirement

Go for one with plastic studs not metal, these will cover all eventualities

No he definitely doesn't play at the weekend! He’d prefer to be in a pool swimming than out on a field playing football Wink

You might be better buying a pair of flexi ground boots that's saves buying a second pair if they play on Astroturf

Get moulded plastic studs

Moulded studs are safer and probably easier, as metal studs are usually screw ins and have a tendency to get lost.
