My baby has been suffering from reflux so we changed his formula advised to by the health visitor to see if it improves. We moved onto hipp organic anti reflux, it says to boil the kettle leave it to cool for 45 mins add the formula swirl the bottle with the palm of your hands, then stand for 7 mins.
It can make it harder for his morning bottle as he sleeps through and I wake when he wakes and when you’ve got a really hungry baby he doesn’t want to wait for almost a hour for his feed.

Can I boil the kettle put the water in his sterilised bottle then put the bottle in cool water to cool down abit faster?? I only cool it in the water to the same temp as it would be if leaving it for 45 mins???

I’ve fed this milk. The point of leaving the water to cool for 45 mins is so it’s room temperature, I used to use the perfect prep machine but dispense the hot shot then the cooler water back to back and add the powder at the very end. That reduces the making time to sub 10 minutes which is much more practical with a hungry baby!

I use HIPP and the prep machine, baby's been perfect on it.
