The heat!!

Yes I'm going to be that mum that asks 😂

LO just over 6 months. Last couple days, their getting tired a lot more quicker then their norm wake times meaning I'm needing to put her down earlier then her norm. Only by 15 mins or so. But for her that's unheard of if anything she wants to stay awake later by 15/20mins.

Feeding well (both formula and food) bit fussy but the weather makes me grumpy. Wet nappies. Taking water.

Would you say it is the heat!?

Not teething. And doesn't seem on pain etc.

My 9mo is definitely more tired and grumpy than she was last week so guessing it's the hot weather. All the babies at our group were a bit hot & bothered this morning!

Glad it's not just me 🤗 she's very grumpy today. Wasn't too bad yesterday but think it was bit cooler yesterday.

I'm not going out unless early morning or perhaps late afternoon to try and help.

Yep could be the heat. Or could be a growth spurt, there’s a big one at 6 months and I find mine always sleep more when they’re having a spurt. If you’re anywhere near me then the heat is sadly not due to last beyond tonight so you’ll know tomorrow if that was it!

You're counting the minutes?! Confused you're a much more organised mum than I ever was

It does pay to be a little more relaxed Wink kids have all sorts of things going in their life that can change the way they behave, eat, sleep, play.... you have to give them space to evolve

I don't think growth spurt 😂 she's done that. She goes through not sleeping well in growth spurts and eating like a horse!!

Ha ha. Yes I keep an eye on it as if she sleeps too much she don't sleep at night (sleep doesn't beget sleep in my LO case) . Though to be fair the last month she hasn't really slept too much. So probably shouldnt keep an eye. Another reason I do is to resettle her after the 40 min mark occasionally so like to watch timings, rather then her waking up fully then she's an overtired mess 🥺
