Just started back to work and DC3 (aged 16 months) is spending a day a week at childminders.
8:30-5:30.

I need to send lunch, so little sandwiches, fruit etc.
But she still has a couple of daytime BF’s when she’s with me.
She really likes cows milk in a beaker, would you send a bottle of milk?

Also looking for inspiration for snacks to send, can you tell I’m worried she will be hungry!! Am
Probably worrying for no reasons and will pack too much food. But she won’t get her proper tea until after 6pm which is late for her.

We used to send in one sippy cup of milk, plus lunch and two snacks.
Snacks used to differ from day to day, but could include: cubes of cheese, mini breadsticks, rice cakes, egg muffin, a pot of Cheerios or chopped up sausage.

Ask the childminder. My Cousin is a childminder and she gives snacks and drinks throughout the day, parents just need to do lunch.

@Mindymomo I think I need to send all food, although we had a few trial/settling in days in the holidays and I know she gave her some bits and pieces. So I know she won’t let her go hungry! I’m just thinking out loud with this thread really! and seeing what others send in for ideas :) it’s been 9 years since I last had a toddler 😮
