Evening all,
Our dd nursery phoned me today saying they were going to have a photographer there to take natural playing pictures of the children to load onto their new website when they phone they put me on the spot so I agreed but 5 mins after discussing with my DH we thought this wasn’t a good idea as the website is for anyone to see.. I’ve messaged them to advise we aren’t happy to agree this but they are now saying they have been taken..
I shouldn’t of agreed straight away but am I now wrong for saying no!
Over thinking mum here!

Well just because they've been taken doesn't mean they can put them on their website! They need your signature to do that. Usually, parents sign a form to agree that their children's photos can be used in publicity material or not...do you remember signing such a form? If not, they should be asking for your signature.

Call back and say you do not give permission for them to be public.

When she started we did sign a form to say no we didn’t agree.
It was one of those put you on the spot moments yesterday and I was still panicked at the fact they called me thinking something was wrong.
I’ll contact again today.

I would call back and say they are not to use the photos with your child in. I would follow it up with an email to reiterate this. I would also remind them of the form you signed.
