My 4 month old won't be put down

Hello
My 4 month old baby hates being put down. She will lie on her play mat for a few mins before wailing, the same with the baby bouncer. She cries and cries until I pick her up. I have tried to last 20 mins but the crying does not subside - it just gets worse. She had v bad reflux for which she now takes medicine so she has grown accustomed to being held - for comfort and the. Post feeds and medicine to keep her from being sick. I don't know what to do ? Any advice welcome. Thanks

My dd was the same... I found a sling to be a life saver. She'd spend a lot of time in the sling and she'd want me to move about constantly, which was exhausting. I worried that I'd never be able to stop using the sling and then, by around 6 or 7 months, she stopped needing it altogether. It doesn't last forever. It also helps once they're more mobile.
