I have a 3 year old and I’m a sahm and I wondered what your days look like as a sahm and also after some tips for things to do to keep our days interesting.

My 3 year old doesn’t go to nursery or to anyone else so he is with me all the time.

Always go out in the morning, toddler group, cafe with park, play date etc. Come home for lunch & nap. Afternoon either playing at home or in the garden or going for a walk or walk to local shop/park. Screen time whilst I make tea, eat, bath, bed.

Get out in the morning to something social (for him and you). You both need the company of other people for at least a couple of hours a day.

If he doesn't nap, allow some guilt-free screen time so you can have lunch/a sit-down/a bit of peace and quiet.

Make sure he can play on his own/entertain himself and give him time to do this each day.

Try and spend periods of time each day giving him some really focussed one-on-one time. Puzzles or board games are good. Craft activities (have a google, loads of ideas out there). Baking. Set up a marble run/train track/Lego whatever he's in to.

My day is exactly the same as yours!
