Pain Killers to help Teething worry

Hi, my daughter is now 5 months old and she is at a really bad stage of teething. She has been teething since three months but it has hit its peak within the past couple of weeks. I tend to give at least one dose of paracetamol a day when she's very badly teething. I have seen that babies shouldn't take paracetamol for more than 7 days and I've really been trying to stop giving paracetamol every day and trying teething remedies first. But my question is now, how many days would you put in between giving pain killers I don't want to use it every day in fear she may soon become addicted or may cause damage. How many times should I give baby pain killers in a week?

I was told by the GP it was fine to keep giving calpol but I try not to give it constantly.
The teething powders are a waste of space. Baby bongela and anbesol are good but lidocaine isn’t supposed to be good for babies. Anbesol is 95% alcohol so I went for the cheap option and just rubbed some whiskey on her gums!
The teethers that go in the fridge are good, a cold wet flannel to chew, I’ve got a chewy baby toothbrush that’s got a handle a bit like a dummy.
I also gave mine a dummy to suck as I decided that was better than calpol and it worked just as well.

I am not a fan of withholding pain relief and I give calpol regularly during teething.

I rarely gave painkillers to ours for teething.
Anbesol liquid was fab for them and lots of things to chew on. The molars were the worst.

I'm not 100% sure but I use anbesol and it's AMAZING!
