Hi all,
I have a very active and lively one and half year old. They are on the go nearly all day only stopping for a 30 ish minute sleep. I feel I do the same stuff with them everyday.
Just wondering what you guys do with your kids all day so I would love to mix it up 🙂

Are you on any local parenting Facebook groups for your area? Mine is full of adverts for re-opening toddler groups at the moment including playgroups which are PAYG (only a couple of quid each time). Also our library runs free baby and toddler sessions although I'm not sure if these have re-started - might be worth checking out your local library website?

I have a 16month similarly active DS. We tend to get out the house as much as possible - free stuff like local parks and walks round the town, some paid stuff like soft play and swimming. At home he likes to dance to music, shake instruments, kick a ball around, push vehicles along , read books, build towers, play with magnetic toys, play with dried rice/pasta and Tupperware spoons etc.

I have a very active 2yo who only stops whilst napping. She doesn’t really sit much, is always on the go and poking around and finding things to entertain herself which really shouldn’t be used for entertainment. Likes to climb on everything and go into places she shouldn’t.

She’s a lot better when she’s out, even a local park trip to burn her energy for 40mins helps, or I take her to grab some groceries from the local shop. Other than that it’s cocomelon, playing with toys or me just following her around making sure she’s not getting her hands into anything she shouldn’t.

It’s hard.
