Hey guys. 4 week old baby and I think he's colic. Every evening he cries at the same time , screams like he's in pain, pushes his legs out, face goes very red , cries Inconsolably. For an hour maybe more. We give him infacol before his feed and then gripe water immediately after his feed. Can you give both Together?? Both don't seem to be helping him he's still crying out in pain. Anything else I can do?? Thanks.

He's also on infant gaviscon but we only give it twice a day.

I would go back to gp or have a chat with pharmacy. Sounds like something isn't working if your giving all three....

Gripe water and Infacol are useless, gripe water hasn’t been proven to have any effect and simethicone - the active ingredient in infacol - can actually cause worse wind. I would stick with the Gaviscon and go back to the GP if it isn’t helping, I’m sorry it’s so tough! It will get easier, don’t be afraid to advocate for your baby.
