Hi,

Should I be giving my 8 month old 3 bottles of formula a day still or do I drop to 2?
He has 270ml (9oz) 3 times a day.

You can give however many bottles you wish. Mine had 4 until 8 months, 3 at 9 months and 2 by 11 months

@dementedpixie
Ah right okay, just wasn't sure how much to give!
He's started eating more foods like myself too such as; scrambled egg, spaghetti etc

Both my girls were under a paediatric dietitian for allergies. Only one was ff. I was told only 2 meals a day until 9 months. Snacks to be added after 12 months. Until 12 months milk should be ideally there main source of nutrition unless they are refusing it.

If they are having less then 17oz of milk then you need to start giving multivitamin and being super careful to make sure they are getting enough calcium from food.

I'd just follow babies lead on the bottles, you'll notice him taking less or being less interested in it. My 9mo is on 4 X 8oz bottles a day but is starting to look less interested in her mid morning one.
