5 weeks after c section bleeding is the period or still because of the birth?

I had a C sec 5 weeks and 2 days ago. Bleeding stopped in a week or 2, then I had a kinda brownish thing, like at the end of the period. I had that everyday, sometimes less sometimes a bit more. Today I bleeding again, not a lot (yet) is this the period or still just the 6 weeks bleeding thing? Im breastfeeding the baby, don't know if this an important information for the question

I had lochia longer than 6 weeks after the birth. I'd assume it was lochia, but unless you're trying to get pregnant again then I wouldn't worry about periods for a bit! It'll stop soon enough.

I bled for about 8 weeks on and off after my c-section. I think it’s normal!

I bled on and off for 12 weeks then the lochia turned yellow and it slowly fizzled out 🤮
