I would really appreciate your advice please. I have prem twins born at 33 + 2 and are now 5 weeks old today and were discharged from hospital yesterday. They are 7 lbs in weight now but sleeping all day and noisy at night!! Can I wake them to feed them as they are on a formula to help prems and put on weight? Do they need to start tummy time yet?

My advice would be to follow the exact routine they were in in scbu. My triplets were born at the same gestation and sticking to that routine meant that I stayed sane! Learning to feed them both together is good too. Prem babies are noisy little buggers! Mine grew out of the nighttime singing at around 5 months.

My twins were born at same gestation, I kept the 3 hourly feeds and the SCBU routine going until they were about 10 weeks then started trying skipping a night feed at a time till they slept 7-7 about a month later
