Close in age babies

Has anyone had kids quite close in age and find it a struggle?
I have a nearly 3 year old and a 13 month old. I find every day a massive struggle, the sleep is better than the newborn stage but I still feel overwhelmed by it and feel like I’ve been stuck in pregnancy and baby stage forever. It’s not been forever but it has been nearly 4 years. I feel like I’m juggling them both and the younger one gets more attention as he needs constant monitoring. When de it get easier? I’m hoping it will pay off, but at the minute I regret not having a larger age gap, when one of them is in nursery at least. I do actually want 3 kids but I don’t want to go back to baby stage!

I have 19 months between my younger 2.

It got easier when the youngest turned 2. He was a bit more likely to sit and play with his sister then.
They've been inseparable since. They're now 6 and 7, they are fiercely loyal to each other, always have each others back, play together, sometimes argue over who gets to read the book first, but generally they are fab. They entertain each other for hours while I can get on with what I need to do, and as they're so close in age, activities are easy as they have almost the same interests.

My situation is years down the line as my 2 sons are now 29 and 30, born 15 months apart. The first 2 years were tough and exhausting but the positives massively outweigh the negatives. They are very different characters but best of friends. It has been wonderful to see how strong their bond has become over the years
