The material I guess? I always find that tights are thinner and also tighter around the crotch - I don't like seeing her white nappy bunched up through the dark fabric of the tights.

Maybe there are some thicker tights out there though...?

I had some for my son but tbh they're baggier than tights and the 'feet' move around when their walking. I wouldnt get them.
