I am nearly done purchasing my dc's school uniform. But I am a bit confused as I need to buy some plain black joggers and plain black sweatshirt/tracksuit. I am wondering if I can buy Nike joggers and Nike sweatshirt/tracksuit? Would the teachers really not allow the tiny Nike tick? I would really appreciate any advice. Thank you

It depends if this is Primary or Secondary

They will probably get away with it but you can buy plain ones easily and cheaply in supermarkets. Try Asda.

Just buy some plain ones from M&S or a supermarket. They may well go walk about!

They will get lost honestly! Buy the cheapest!

So,e schools don't allow any branding, others don't ,ind. it depends on your school.

Is there a reason why it ends to be a branded set?

I'd also consider whether it's going to be left at school,or not. Pre covid children at my school left their PE kit on their peg in a one bag all week, tbh many all half term. They changed in and out of them in school. This often led to,things going missing, but parents might not realise for a few weeks. Will you mind if a more expensive goes missing and can't be found?

These days at my school children go in wearing kit on PE days so it isn't as bad, though on warm days tops etc are often removed, or things get removed if a child has a water or toilet accident. Obviously this can lead to things being lost.

Most of our children send in/wear very cheap and plain kit items, such as from a supermarket or Primark tbh. Then it isn't quite such a big deal,if,items walk.

Whatever you buy make sure every item is clearly labelled with name and ideally class number. It won't prevent everything going missing but can help,us reunite them again.

It depends on the school but plain black ones are easy enough to pick up in Asda, Sainsbury's, Tesco etc & it'll be far cheaper.

Why would you want to buy Nike ones, though?

Colour it in with permanent marker.

Label it with labels and not with permanent marker so that your own child can recognise it when they invariably leave their jumper in the playground at playtime.

Thank you everyone for your replies ❤ much appreciated. I will see if my lil one can get away with the *Nike outfit for P.E. If not I'll buy one from Marks and Spencer or Primark.

I'm actually new on here and this is my first thread. I'm amazed to see so many helpful replies. Thank you Abraxan BernardsarenotalwaysSaints Hellocatsathome Fruitpastille hedgehogger Thevolturi
