Travel cot recommendations!

Hi! We are planning on taking my 8mo on holiday next week and the travel bassinet we have is too small for him now. Just looking for any recommendations - we would like something big enough to last him until he's 3ish with a good quality mattress (not thin and hard!) and can double up as a playpen. Thanks in advance!

I think the crap "mattress" is part of the safety feature. We brought a separate travel mattress which fits completely snuggly. We've got a cuggl one and it's been great, packs up fairly easily and my big DS was still fitting in it till around 2yo when he learnt how to climb out of it.

We’ve got the Phil and Ted’s travel cot for our nearly 5mo. It’s really light weight and easy to transport.
