Baby Pulls Neck Forward in Car Seat

Our 15 week old baby is pulling his neck forward in his car seat (not slumping forward) and I can’t seem to find any advice online as to why this is.

Please can someone offer some advice.

We have taken the newborn insert out, reclined the seat further etc but nothing seems to make a difference.

Mine has done this since about the same time. He also does it all the time when lying down now too (he’s 20 weeks) I’ve always thought it’s him trying to sit up x

Thanks for your reply. He did it on the way home from the hospital when he was just a day old too He’s only been in it a handful of times. Is it something wrong with the car seat or do you think he’ll do it in any car seat?

That’s funny isn’t it, he’s the same - I think they’re definitely trying to sit up! It’s like they want to be off exploring now isn’t it :-)
