Deferring uni for a year - guidance ideas for son

Pebble40 · 19/08/2021 18:17

My son has been offered a money incentive to defer starting Bristol Uni for a year. He hadn't considered deferring so all a bit of a surprise and has to respond tomorrow. Any suggestions, thoughts etc. Any knowledge of getting work permits for overseas, working in ski resorts etc gratefully received!
Thanks

What about Raleigh International

He has zero chance of getting a visa for Aus or NZ this year so I wouldn't include those on your list. Sadly Sad

What subject is he going to do? Can he get work experience or a job in a related area for a year?

I'd look at work/jobs linked to the course he wants to do.
