Kindle apps for 5 and 7yo

We are going away tomorrow which includes a long drive. I have realised the apps on the Kindle are mostly for much younger children and not very suitable any more, so I need to replace them. Which apps do your 5 and 7yos love please? Both DCs are good readers, so no issues with games that have a bit of text.
We already have a Candy Crush-type, Angry Birds, a Tetris-type, and a water sorting puzzle game. They like the CBBC games, but these all seem to be web-based (unless I'm missing something obvious!), and I would rather avoid the need to tether to a phone.

Mine loved that app too, but it hasn't been used for sometime as they are both reading well beyond that level now. It was one of the ones I deleted. I highly recommend it though for earlier readers
