Travel stair gate?

We'll be having a 3 yr old staying with us in a few weeks and think it's wise to get a stair gate for safety.

Could anyone recommend one that we don't need to drill as it'll only be temporary. Thank you

You should be able to find one that's spring loaded. I seem to remember Lindam do one.

Most 3 year old can manage stairs 🤷

I personally don't see the need havr you checked with the parents?

For safety where?

Top of the stairs in case child wakes in night disoriented? Yes I would get a gate.

Bottom of the stairs to prevent child from climbing by day? No, not needed.

We got rid of our stairgates when DC was about 2.5 and learned how to climb over them. I would also check with the parents first to see if it's needed.

For the top of the stairs, yes parents have been asked.
