My 11 year old girls behaviour is very challenging at the min, she has just had a diagnosis of having severe learning difficulties after wasting time at camhs we have been referred there 6 times since she was 5 years old...but lately her behaviour is really challenging shes biting adults, smacking them across the face, smashing plates and wanting to walk on them refuses to go to bed takes no responsibility for her actions and shows no remorse. She is violent and aggressive towards her siblings aswell. We have been dealing with this behaviour for years as not one professional has really helped with her and now its come the point were I dont know what to do or how to handle it....HELP

Hi op. Sorry to hear your family are struggling so much.

If your daughter has severe learning difficulties how is it that is just only now being diagnosed?

Now you have a diagnosis you could maybe seek support through the local social care disabled children team?

Linking with families Wwithwith children with similar needs and challenges can be helpful. Do you know of any groups in your area for children with disabilities or carers.
