Clothes recommendations for slim toddler

Since potty training my two year old, we've had to go right back to 12-18 month leggings just to get them to stay up. They're still a bit slack round the waist and they're too short in the leg. She was in cloth nappies so all her clothes were chosen for big bottoms, which makes them look even worse (mainly H&M).

Any recommendations for (cheap/ supermarket) places to buy leggings for toddlers that come up slim round the waist?

Thanks!

We had this exact issue. Found Sainsbury's leggings to come up quite small on the waist and are our go to.

Avoid Next, even their slim fit range is way too big on the waist.

Sainsburys Primark and H&M were always good for us in the same situation

Primark. Skinny jeans good.
Sainsbury's is slimmest supermarket
Vertbaudet
H&M slims down once you're beyond nappy expected ages.

Elasticated adjustable waists are good as they stay up but can be pulled down in a hurry. Do NOT go for dungarees/playsuits until child is well trained and has got over the denial while dancing phase! Also watch drawstrings you need to knot/tie in a bow as it will get stuck at the crucial moment (and tough to retie properly for a young child).

I had the same problem with my now 6 yo

I only know about boys’ clothes but Vertbaudet and La Redoute always seemed to come up very narrow. M&S or John Lewis might be worth a look too? I’d avoid Next because they seem to be made for kids with tummies (fell off my DC1).

Thank you all so much!

I'll have a trip to Sainsbury's and Primark this week.

I have a very slim toddler too and he lives in HM's elasticated jeggins. Their elasticated adjustable waists are just the best!
I tend to avoid joggers and prefer slim fits and leggings. Best fit is HM but he also has something from Matalan. Unfortunately nothing from Next, as too baggy in the waist area.

And I can never buy sets as the tops normally fits but not the bottom, and what's the point of wearing a set separately!
