Sausages etc

When can you introduce sausages, good ones, fish fingers, and low salt gravy and stock?

DS is 14m and I'm very health conscious but not to the point of never wanting him to eat sausage. But I don't know when it's okay to add it to his meals.

I haven't made him a roast dinner because I can't make him gravy. And all his casseroles and saucy foods are Passata based because I haven't used stock.

Thanks :)

@NigellaSeed we tend to have sausages once a week and they eat a whole sausage usually. It's easier after 1 because they're allowed 2 grams of salt. If we go over and have 2.5 or dare I say it, 3 g of salt one day, then it kind of balances out if we have 1g the next day. It's hard because one slice of bread (the granary we use) has 0.4 grams and milk also has salt in too so when you count every bit of salt it is relatively easy to go over. We like cheddar too 😋.

Thanks for the advice guys. We definitely eat yummy food, just as I say, without gravy I just haven't made roasts or cottage pie. A roast dinner I would of had maybe twice a year before baby anyways.

Sausages will be cut length ways, like round fruit, thanks PP :)
