Tommee tippee anti colic bottles

Been using these with my baby since just after birth. We've had a terrible time with them leaking but they did seem to make a difference to my baby. I've complained to tommee tippee and they replaced them. Anyway they've started leaking again and so I've thought about just using the original bottles. Has anyone changed from the anti colic ones to the normal ones and the baby has been fine? I'll need to buy New Teats if I change bottles. So I'd rather have some opinions before paying out. We used them because my baby had reflux. Not for colic.

No idea on the colic aspect but I couldn't find a way to stop them leaking, real pain. I used the normal tommee tippee closer to nature bottles with no problem and no leaks for a medicated reflux baby 🙂

@T0rt0ise thank you. I think I'll change back. The leaking is ridiculous!!

I used these and I read that it leaks because the milk is too hot somehow causing extra air in the bubble tube in the middle and therefore not sealing correctly?! Not sure how true it was, but I always cooled the bottles down before assembling and never had a problem from there on out x

I used these with DS (now 4.5) and this time with DD 6m and neither time had an issue with leaking Unless I hadn’t put it together properly. I know your not meant to shake them with the colic part on, your meant to use a blank lid. Could it be that?

I think you're right. I've changed to the normal bottles now.

These bottles leak when the liquid inside is too hot as it slightly changes the plastic shape, so you might be using water that is too hot?
