Nappy rash

My little girl is almost 6 months now, she started sleeping through the night at 8 weeks and did so up until we started weaning her at around 4 months, the health visitor told me to feed her more because she started to wake up through the night again as she was too hungry.
After we started to give her another meal through the day she started to sleep through again.
She then started to develop a nappy rash, when I spoke to doctors they ruled it as thrush and gave me a cream to put on her. It has started to spread and now she has also gone off her bottles, even gagging when the bottle is in her mouth, and waking up through the night again having a major meltdown that can go on for as long as 2 hours.
I have to wait till tomorrow morning to try and get an appointment with a doctor and even then it could take a while to get the appointment.

Hi, sounds like a bug. My boy had similar at 5 month's, numerous dirty nappies per day and ended up with a pretty bad nappy rash. I used a barrier spray on him then orabase and paraffin cream. This cleared it but not completely so we used clotrimazole and the combination of all creams cleared it pretty quickly.
My baby acted the same with the bug, off his bottles, screaming crying that lasted hours. It's hard but just have to let it run its course. Call the GP in the morning, they should see you that day with a baby so little. Hope she feels better soon. X
