Hi,

My DD is 9 weeks and had cradle cap. I had some amazing advice in what creams to use to clear up her CMPA rash from Mumsnet so asking again for recommendations of good cradle cap creams!

TIA x

My DC’s cradle cap cleared up after I put my nipple cream on it

Coconut oil on after a bath and leave to soak in, cleared DS up straight away.

I tried all the more natural remedies like coconut oil, but the only thing that really shifted it was dentinox. I didn't really want to use something so chemically, but it worked quickly so I didn't have to keep using it.

Head and shoulders worked for us with both DSs

I used a soft baby brush and very gently massaged DSs scalp in the bath with a little baby shampoo (nothing special). Did it every bath time until it went, cleared away nicely.

The woman in Body Shop told me their chamomile make up melting cream (in a little pot like lip balm) is great for cradle cap but I can't personally confirm that.

Rubbed a bit of olive oil in overnight. That was back in the old days though so not sure if it's advised now. Mine all survived and with clear scalps.

I tried oils and stuff but didn't like it.
I just gently wash with baby shampoo for sensitive skin and brush with soft brush every night.
It got better with time and now almost gone at 18 weeks.

At first it is bad but it will clear naturally!
