3 month old - formula fed

My 3 month old is a big boy, he's 17lbs at 14 weeks. He's started eating 7oz every 4 hours.

I'm trying a new thing of putting him to bed at 7pm because this fits with my family routine. It's been going fairly well, he tends to wake once or twice but only want to feed one of the times. Other times I just shhh pat him and he goes back to sleep.

However he always wakes at 4-5am. Sometimes I can settle him with a cuddle. Should I feed him? I like starting his 4hourly bottle schedule at 7am. But the early starts confuse things. He doesn't tend to grizzle for food until 6:30ish but I wondered if it would be better to feed and resettle him at 4 or 5.

Personally with his fab weight I would say if he is happy to be settled back down then don't feed him

Obviously a dummy would help here too but if you have got to 3months without one I prob wouldn't start now

He's up at that time because he's had enough sleep 9,10 hrs at least

Let him naturally fall back to sleep and don't feed him unless he wants it.
