Weaning schedule

I’ve just started weaning my nearly 6 month old after her pediatrician recommended. I’m just hoping some of you lovely people can advise me whether my little girl’s feeding routine sounds normal or not. I know it depends on the individual baby but I’m a first time mum and would really be grateful to know whether what I’m doing sounds ok. I feel as though she has an awful lot! My husband thinks she has too much milk now she’s on solids. I’m just really unsure. Thanks so much in advance.

6:30 wakes and milk feed 5oz
8:00 solids for breakfast (e.g. puréed banana)
10:00 milk 5oz
12:30 solids for lunch (e.g. puréed veg) AND a milk feed 5oz
4:00 milk 5oz
6:00 solids for tea (e.g. puréed veg)
7:00 milk 5oz
10:00 pm dream feed 6oz

Sounds fine to me. Her milk intake will decrease as her solids increase. The start of weaning is about new tastes and textures not to stuff them full of food so that they no longer want milk.

It’s fine. She’s getting so little calories from the purées at this stage that she still needs the milk. As she increases her solid food intake and moves on to higher calorie foods, she will naturally decrease her milk intake.
