Weaning advice

Hi, so I've just completed week one of weaning my 6 month old. I have just been giving mashed/puréed single fruits and veggies. Just wondered when everyone started to move to two meals and less puréed foods? I am too scared to try BLW so want to do it gradually but don't know what to try next. Online has so much info I found it hard to get clear answers! I guess every baby is different but wondering what other people did for some ideas and at what point they introduced more meals.

I got bored of purées within a week and moved to proper meals. It was so much more interesting and fun that way!

He had one meal a day (lunch) for about a month, then moved to lunch and breakfast. He’s now 8 months and has breakfast, lunch and a snacky tea.

@OaxacaChihuahua thanks for your reply! What did you move on to? I just worry so much about choking but really want to do more than just purées already too!
