I really hate feeding my eight month old

Arrggghhh

He twists around, tries to shove his fist in his mouth, flips … it’s really hard work. Is there an easier way of feeding bottle fed babies at this age?

I feel the exactly the same sometimes 😂 sometimes he’s great, eats what I give him, or drinks his bottle no fuss. Then the next day he’s throwing food on the floor, squirming when having his bottle, taking ages to eat/drink anything even though he’s hungry. I dread feeding time every day because I never know what I’m gonna get!

When hes having his bottle and starts messing around, try giving him a short break to just sit on your lap for a cuddle. Or move to a different room, make some sort of change. I always say that I’m ‘resetting’ DS when I have to do this 😂

Helloooooo! How are you getting on now? Smile (our boys were born on the same day!)

Yours sleeps so well, I’m jealous! Ds is better now, I’ve reintroduced a third nap although it means a late bedtime but before that he just kept waking up.

I thought I recognised the name! I’m good thank you hope you are too :) ah well not every baby has the same schedule! I know another 8 month old who’s sleep schedule is totally different from my DS but it works for them and works for the parents!
Feeding is a nightmare sometimes isn’t it 😂 constantly picking food up off the floor and having to find him something else to eat because half of it is inedible! He can be dead fussy with his bottles too, even if he’s hungry, it’s like he just can’t be bothered! But he’s better than he was a few months ago.
