I'm really struggling here.
My son is starting high school in september and all his friends have mobile phones. I know that it's time but I'm afraid of who might contact him when I'm not with him and al the other horror stories you hear.
Any ideas on safe mobile phones for children?

There used to be a monqi phone for kids available in Tesco but they stopped doing them and couldn't find an alternative. I think they looked a but child like, so the kids didn't like them.
I'd suggest looking into parent shield sim cards as you can use a basic phone or give him your old phone with that and has loads of safety features parentshield.co.uk

There is no such thing. The combination of parent control and teaching your child how to use their phone safely is the best we have.
