Hello there I need to talk to other mums I have 2 older children of 13 and 14 and I now have a 2.5 year old and he is nothing like my other children in the way he behaves.

I feel in my gut there is something wrong and the doctor won't see him and my HV doesn't help that much but I'm sure he is autistic. Is there anyone who can help as may things he does are classed as normal but other things are just strange.

Sorry. He smacks the side of his head that seems to of stopped but he will now hit his head on the floor. We can't figure out if he does it out of frustration and just figuring out his feelings and that's how he copes with them. He takes forever to get to sleep for a nap or at bedtime. He loves to do puzzles and can already say the alphabet and count to 20. The HV was impressed with how good he was at doing them. He doesn't often play imaginary games sometimes he will play with his kitchen and pretend to give me food. He is a super fussy eater and have spoke to dietitian who said he isn't that bad. I have seen all the professionals who don't seem concerned yet. He talks now but I'd say not as well as he should . He doesn't understand when I tell him to stop doing something. He laughs at random sometimes. I have looked up signs of autism and I read it and think that's him but other things I think not him. Confused
