Hello my DC is intrigued by the digital displays on buses and trains, stations and stops, which give info about the next stop or when the bus is coming etc. He always points to them. I’m looking for a simple way to explain what these are as he is only 1yo. Can you think of a simple term or phrase? Passenger information board seems too tricky a concept! Thank you in advance.

You've had me thinking for 10 mins and I can't come up with anything 🙈😂

I'd probably just call it a cool flashing journey planner
Tbh my 1 year old wouldn't care less 😂😂
It's more of a "what colours & numbers can you see" and he usually tells me what he sees

When bus coming?
When train coming?
Where is bus/train going? For signs inside bus/train.
Bus stop soon. - when the bus stopping sign lights up.

I would keep concept simple at first and then expand it if it is still of interest to them and they have grasped the initial simple version.

When bus coming sign says Due, I would have them start to look for the bus but not say it is coming now, rather that it is coming soon.
