Is this colic or silent reflux or something more serious?

Hi my 11 week old dd suddenly started showing this movements which is worrying me since last 2 days. She was always a crier but she did have some non crying episodes too when lying on her back. Suddenly she's become absolutely intolerant to lying on her back since last 2 days.

So this happens throughout the day before/after feeds. When I put her on her back, after a couple of minutes she (gets what look like spasms but might not be as it happens invariably every single time) pulls her arms with clenched fists towards the chest (like Tarzan) while stretching her legs and tightening her body. This happens for a couple of seconds and then she relaxes and. It repeats until I put a pacifier into her mouth or pick her up to hold her. She's fine while sleeping, and when held in a vertical position and on her back when she's sicking on a pacifier. I'm a little concerned about the movements above as I've not really seen any colicky baby doing that anywhere or if this sounds like silent reflux.
I did take her to A & E to rule out infantile spasms and the doc did say she didn't find it worrisome and thought it was silent reflux. Advised milk thickener and asked us to observe for a week and return a week later.

I just want to be reassured it's nothing serious. Anyone else with a baby doing that due to colic or silent reflux?

TIA! ❤️

My daughter did this, she refused to be put down and needed to held upright. She had the same, tightening of the body, red face, flailing legs.

It was colic. I took her to the hospital and they said the same.

You can try baby exercises for colic on YouTube l think that it made a difference to my daughter.

Also lie baby on back and tap the back with both hands to get the gas moving out.

My daughter got better after we started using dentinox and she still has colic now but it is sporadic and she's going to be 6 months soon

Omg! Thanks ever so much for your reply, @1990b. Can't explain how relieved I feel right now. Yes, I'm going to try the exercises and the milk thickener too to see if they help. I'm also planning to eliminate certain food items from my diet to see if that helps.
Aww..I hope your lil one gets out of it soon. Hugs
