Milk Allergy in baby

Hi
My baby started coming up in hives so we changed to Aptimal pepti milk. 5 days in and still hives.

What could be the ingredient that remains that we need to remove from her diet?

Thanks

Zoë

There is a really good Facebook page for CMPA. Try asking on there.

Aptamil pepti still has cows milk in, just with the proteins broken down. My son's symptoms didn't improve on it either, so we were put on SMA Alfamino. You need that or neocate as they have no milk in at all x

You may need a new formula, however, any milk/formula can stay in the system for weeks i think.
My little boy was a different baby from the first night of nutramigen milk. Yet his symptoms were not as severe as hives. You may need a completely milk free formula

We have got neocate on prescription for one of our twins and he's like a different baby.
Push your GP to prescribe it. X

Definitely neocate, although any trace of milk can take a good while to fully clear the system which is why we were told to trial the formula for at least 14 days to give a true reflection of its effectiveness.
