Lost TMA's, can't contact tutor, getting sick of it

My first TMA was lost in the post tutor phoned me and assured me it wouldn't effect my mark that it was late, I should just resend it...so I did.

However, by this time my next one was due so I sent them both together (seperate envelopes) and it's been 2 weeks since the deadline and I've heard nothing about either of them.

I'm panicking like mad that the second TMA has now been lost because this would surely wreck my overall mark completely but to make matter worse, I can't contact the tutor.

I've phoned him 5 times at various times in the day and night and have had no answer. The last email I sent took a week to be replied to.

I'm just getting sick of the whole thing now and wondering if its worth it.

It is definitely worth it. Please don't give up. Contact the OU by phone, explain what's happened and they will put you through to the right person - I think it's student support. I've always found them really helpful in the past.
Good Luck

As long as you have your proof of postage it won't be a problem even if it is lost again.

My last course used eTMAs. Much better system, for this very reason.

Oh, and my first tutors average turn-around time was 5 weeks , so there is still plenty of time for it to appear...
