Aptimel Pepti and carobel?

My son has prescribed formula for CMPA. He's loads better / happier on it but because it's very thin he still brings it up. It's especially bad at night with him vomiting all over his bed 1-2 hours after a night feed.

Someone has told me carobel could really help but I'm unsure if it will be ok to use it in the special formula. My GP said he honestly doesn't know and I should ask a health visitor. They were also non committal. I'd just like some guidance!

Has anyone used carobel with aptimel pepti on advice of a doctor or health visitor? Would like to know how much to add to each bottle etc?

Thank you!

I used nutilis powder rather than carobel, on the advice of my doctor. They're both just thickening agents, I used it in lactose free formula no problem.
Had to experiment a bit with quantities and my memory is a little hazy now I'm afraid OP, I seem to remember the nutilis came with a little blue scoop and I added three scoops to an 8oz bottle.
Good luck!
