Hard water and making formula

I live in a soft water area, will be travelling to a hard water area in a couple of weeks. How will this affect making formula? Or does it not affect feeds? Any tips?
Or would it just be easier to pack loads of bottled formula? Just exploring options. Its a 2 night stay. Should i take my own kettle and steriliser?

Shouldn't make a difference as far as I know 🤔 I live in a hard water area and don't know about anything special I have to do when making formula. I've been on UK holiday's and never considered what hardness the water is

Literally never considered this and I’ve travelled all over with mine. Ask if there will be a kettle there then decide whether or not to take yours? Unless you’d prefer ready made formula for ease. And you will need a way of sterilising the bottles whether that’s the self sterilising ones in a microwave, electric steriliser from home, boiling them in a pot, Milton tablets etc. The easiest option will likely depend on the set up of where you are staying. Is it someone’s house or a hotel?

Ah ok that's good to hear. Just heard hard water can make babies poorly?
Hoping to book an apartment as itd be more convinient with baby. Take my steriliser along with me.
