Rear facing car seat no isofix

Does anyone have a recommendation for a long term rear facing seat for a car with no isofix?

Need to get a second car seat for DH's car so he can do nursery pick ups and drop offs. Doesn't need to do anything fancy (have Joie I-spin 360 in mine) but want extended rear facing. DD is 12 months and 9.8kgs currently.

Hi I would recommend the axkidd Minikid. We have one for our 5 year old, it's attached with tethers and rear faces until 25kgs. There are several others available but I personally love this one.

Axkid move , similar to
Minikid

Another vote for Axkid Minikid, great value if you get it at 12 months as it’ll last you for years. The Axkid Move is very similar too but cheaper as it doesn’t have a few of the bells and whistles.

One of the Axkidd seats mentioned by pp or britax max way/max way plus

Britax Romer but check the minimum weight - I think may be 10kg

We have an Axkid Minikid in one car. It's very clever with self adjusting harness and tethers. Also it's passed the Swedish Plus safety test. But it is heavy.

We have a Britax Two Way Elite in our other car. It isn't as fancy as the Axkid but it's light with no load leg (it has to brace on the seat in front) is easy to fit quickly so it's good for holidays. Also it's a lot cheaper than the Axkid seats.

We had one of the BeSafe ones similar to this:

Joie every stage.

We have the axkid move, same safety rating as axkid minikid but less features and therefore cheaper.

Undersnatch · 29/07/2021 18:42

Another minikid vote, we have two.
