Wind when lying down

my daughter is now 3 1/2 months and she has suffered with wind when lying down. I've tried to find many articles that can help and most say to burp her really good after feeds, I spend forever burping her and bring up great big burps and then she's comfortable and does her thing and plays but as soon as she lays down or falls asleep and gets put down she's got really bad wind. I've tried lots of method of burping while she's sleepy (very hard to keep them asleep and be patting their back disturbing them) and I've also tried things such as infacol and gripe water. Nothing does the trick and most times I have to let her get rid of the wind herself and see if nature takes course. Just want to know if anyone else suffered with this, is there any tricks? Does this sort of thing just go with time or should she not be experiencing this? Smile

It does go with time but it can feel like a long time!; are you bottle or breastfeeding? I found the anti colic bottles helped my DS and we changed his formula too.
