Hi All,

It’s been 6 month since my at that time 4 month old baby got chicken pox from he’s sister and been left with a scar on he’s nose.

It looks better, but still visible :(

I am not complaining, because we are very lucky only getting one scar, but somethimes feeling sad and thinking i should’ve done something differently

Is there anyone out there who’s child been left with a chicken pox scar?

Was it fading? Does your child self conscious about it etc?

Anyone got any treatment fading scars in her/hes late years?

Thank you!

I have a couple of chicken pox scars on my face including one very prominent one. I had chicken pox when I was about 8 and I’m now in my 30s so they do last.

But even as a very vain teenager it never bothered me and no one’s ever asked me about or anything. It’s just been there and I’ve have thought that would be even more so if he’s had it from when he was so young.

Our eldest 2 both have scars from it, neither of them are bothered by them.
Daughter also has a birth mark on her forehead and has never been bothered about that, it has not grown as she has so appears smaller than at birth.
