Are breathable cot bumpers still a risk?

My 7 month old has got into the habit of doing a 360 spin in the night, even while in her sleeping bag! My main concern is that she bangs her head on the bars of the cot which distresses her.
I’ve never been a fan of the cot bumpers and I’m aware they are unsafe but I just want something to cushion her head. Are the breathable ones still a risk? I’ve seen a few online but also heard mixed reviews about the safety of them.

I wouldn't risk it. I think even the breathable ones can pose a risk of strangulation.

I switched to using a travel cot for this reason, safe to sleep in cant whack their head.

They do learn not to bang their heads. I wouldn't risk a bumper.

These aren't safe

Any type of bumpers are unsafe, they can still restrict airflow or child can become entangled in them , be strangled (search Justice for Preston) or can injure themselves standing on them to climb out of the cot. I really wouldn't do it
