Kendamil opinions / help with reflux and colic ?

I’m thinking about changing to this formula from Aptamil. I was just wondering if anyone had used this to help with reflux/colic and found it worked well? Or if it didn’t help?

I’ve been reading that it’s naturally thicker without being an actual reflux milk as my baby is on medication for it so can’t use Aptamil reflux milk.

Any opinions would be great

I swapped my little boy from cow and gate to kendamil. This really helped him. He no longer brings up half his feeds. And no longer has to have infacol in every bottle!

That’s great to hear, I think I’m going to give it a go I didn’t want to upset him by changing as he’s only 6 weeks old but I think it would benefit him

I was worried about just changing it too. I spoke to my HV and she said to just try it and see how he gets on. Definitely been so much better, he use to bring up a lot of his feeds and since changing he rarely does! Good luck, hope it helps!

I used Kendamil but found it made my baby very windy so switched to Hipp Organic and the difference was amazing. It was recommended to me by a few other mums at the time. Kendamil definitely smells a lot nicer than most other formulas though!

Thank you, I will definitely give it a go and see how I get on. Thanks for your opinions Smile

@Starrr123 oh no!! That throws a spanner in the works! I suppose all I can do is try it, how long before you realised it was making her worse?

Good luck with sourcing Kendamil. There is a problem with supply nationally, I believe.

My baby is 4 weeks old. Pretty sure he has silent reflux. Been prescribed carobel which seemed to helped the reflux, but made him really constipated. Went back to the doctors and been given gaviscon and it made him 100x worse. So will need to go back to doctors tomorrow.

Does anybody have any advice on what I could do, I’m doing everything like upright feedings, upright sleeping, sitting upright after feedings.
Should I change him milks or take omeprazole off the doctors or ask for a prescribed formula?
