Me and my DH are going on holiday to the seaside in a few weeks. We will be staying in a static caravan. Our 9 month old DS is already into everything! He is doing a strange crawl pushing on one leg and dragging the other but he can move pretty fast! Anyway, what are your top tips for going on holiday with a baby? And travelling? Should I take anything special? We plan to have nice walks, spend some time on the beach and hopefully chill out a bit. We won't be going in too many places as my DH hasn't had his second jab yet. First time Mummy here so after any wisdom I can get! X

Small blow up paddling pool for beach.
Fill with water and it keeps them from scuttling off down to the sea!
Baby powder , helps magically get sand off skin.

Enjoy it! 2 adults, 1 9 month old? It’s the easiest family holiday you will ever have. You might not appreciate that now, but at some point you will look back on it and realise Smile

Take more clothes than you think. And yes to the paddling pool.

Only plan one thing per day, and don't be disappointed when it doesn't happen because baby is overtired or some other problem. Our first holiday we thought we could do several things a day, as we did pre kids, but quickly learned that that was not going to happen. Routine goes out the window, everyone is tired, things take forever. Low expectations are your friend :-D
