Poo help

Right here goes.

How do I go for a poo with a 12 month old???

For context we have a small separate cubicle with a toilet in rather than it being in a bathroom. It's so tiny I can't put her on the floor of the toilet she has to sit in my lap.

But as well as it feeling pretty weird and gross trying to poo with my toddler sat on me she won't sit still and resorts to pulling my hair or poking my eye out and it's kind of hard to go like that.

I can't put her down and leave her because she'll start eating a book or running the hot tap or something.

So what do you guys do? Help!

Stick her in her cot.

Put her in her cot or playpen surely, I've never taken any of my kids in the toilet with me ever.
Even those with a very full on attachment style of parenting surely dont have their kids sitting on their lap when they take a crap.

I put my DD in her cot with some toys if I’m still upstairs and in her playpen if I’m downstairs.

Cot, high chair, car seat, pram, walker, jumperoo. Anything she can't climb out of.

Leave the door open.

It looks like you've posted twice, @soulfoodshack, and both threads are about poo.

Reported.

Cheers for the helpful suggestions.
Cot seems obvious now! Clearly the sleep deprivation getting to my brain.
Sorry to those I have offended with the poo chat
