If your child has been diagnosed with ADHD, did they have traits as a baby?

My baby DS, 8 months will not stay still. He is very easily distracted when feeding, difficult to settle and appears to hate being held still for more than like a minute or two.
I mean no offence with this post and obviously am not trying to diagnose my baby as he is so young and I am not a medical/psychological proffessional.
My partner has definite traits and always has; struggles with attention span for certain things (forms etc) but is super, super efficient at other things, is twitchy and finds it difficult to sit still, jumps from one task to the next and seemingly has to continue until physically exhausted.

I am just curious if anyone who's child has been diagnosed had noticed anything in the very early years that corresponded with a later diagnosis?

Could your son be overtired? My daughter is like this but so much better when she gets proper sleep!

Both my boys have been like this! Older one definitely doesn't have adhd. My second is only 8 months but assuming just a baby thing again so not worried Smile

Totally normal for a baby that age- my DS doesn’t have ADHD but I was convinced for a long time because he never stayed still
