Ideas for single mum hobbies

Hi
I'm a single mum. I don't have family/babysitters nearby. I just wanted some ideas for hobbies/meeting people. I am finding it hard to get any me time or to make local friends.
I thought when my little one started school I'd have loads of friends but I work long hours so I can't do the school run - just before and after school club. I've tried to get my little one into sports but they're too young/not interested so I haven't made friends on the sidelines. Plus we haven't done play dates as it's been lockdown...

Any ideas? Starting to feel a bit lonely to be honest.

Does anyone at work have children of a similar age? Could you arrange to meet up with them and the DC?

The MUSH app might put you in touch with some other Mums in your area as well

Park run or horse riding? Ponies might interest them and it ends in a great social group.

Any Pre kid friends?

Can young children do park run? That sounds like a good idea as I want to get fit again anyway.
I have a good circle of friends but they're in a different county since I relocated so to see them means an over night stop.
I feel like I need to start finding a local circle of friends too.

Any scope to change jobs for something a bit less taxing on your time? This sounds like the main problem tbh

Any exercise classes you could do during school time? Things like pilates, yoga etc

Art classes?
