All of that sounds incredibly difficult and I have no experience, sorry.

Has he said why he doesn't want to sleep?

No in fact he doesn’t display any emotion at all so it’s difficult to read and judge an appropriate solution I have tried pretty much everything. Thank you for responding

Is he Neurotypical? Has he been assessed at all?

That sounds really tough! Sorry if you have thought of or tried any of the following;

Was there anything traumatic aroubd when it started e.g. a death in the family?

He may be struggling to get to sleep or stay asleep - will he read/play quietly in his room to avoid the kicking etc.?

It was the day the schools went back officially after the last Covid. The problem is when he wakes he explodes he won’t do it quietly he wants to wake the entire house. His ultimate goal is to sleep with an adult which for a while I did then have him is own room and space but he keeps waking and refuses to sleep but he doesn’t seem to be in any distress or feel remorse and that is in day to day life to.

It’s absolutely fine every little suggestion helps
